Police looking for man who robbed Dollar General store at gunpoint

Lansing police are looking for a man who robbed a Dollar General store at gunpoint.

It happened at 8:40 p.m. Monday night at the location in the 3500 block of Waverly. Police tell FOX 47 News a man walked into the store, showed a gun and demanded money.

The suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived. A canine unit was brought in by police in an attempt to track the suspect but the track was unsuccessful. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a slim build, black man in his 20's. He was last seen wearing a black sweater with white lettering, jeans and neon tennis shoes.
