Police looking for man suspected of robbing a liquor store in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. — Police were called at around 1 a.m. when a liquor store was reportedly robbed.

Police investigate reported robbery at liquor store.Police say a man ran off with an undisclosed amount of money from L and M Quickstop on Willow near M.L.K. early this morning.

When police arrived they set up a perimeter to find the man but were unsuccessful.

L and M Quickstop employees said that the man is a frequent customer of the liquor store.

Police say he was wearing a black ski mask, dark sweatshirt with "Everlast" in white on the front, blue running pants with a white stripe along the pant legs, and black shoes.

Residents in the area said they weren't surprised that there was robbery and the area frequently has similar crimes.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
