The Lansing Police Department is investigating a hit and run accident involving a stolen SUV.
It happened near the Quality Dairy on Willow and Robertson just after 10:30PM Thursday.
Police say the driver of the stolen SUV hit a utility pole before the vehicle rolled and caught on fire. Police say the driver ran off before officers arrived. A FOX 47 photographer on scene saw several police officers searching the area for the driver, but Lansing police say the search was not successful.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The Lansing Police Department says they have not identified a suspect at this time.
