An armed carjacking happened in Summit Township on Thursday, October 18.
It happened at 5:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Helena Avenue.
The suspect showed the victim a handgun and forced her out of her car before driving off in the car.
Police are describing the suspect as a black male in his late 20's with short facial hair and a mustache. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. Police say he is armed and considered dangerous.
The vehicle carjacked is a 2006 blue Hyundai Elantra 4-door with Ohio plates. It was recovered around 11 a.m. on Friday morning.
