LANSING, Mich. — Lansing police are investigating a pair of armed robberies and believe the same person is responsible for both hold ups.

Officers with the Lansing Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at 11:46 p.m. Tuesday at the Quality Dairy on East Cavanaugh Road.

A man walked into the store, displayed a silver handgun and demanded money from a store employee, police said.

Lansing police say the suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived on scene.

No one was hurt.

LPD officers responded to a report of another armed robbery, this time at a Speedway gas station on East Michigan Avenue right around 3:30 a.m.

Police believe the same suspect in the QD robbery walked into the gas station, pulled out a gun and demanded cash from a gas station employee.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise from the gas station, police said.

No one was hurt.

Anyone with information regarding either robbery is asked to call the Lansing Police Department at 517-483-4600.
