Police investigating two armed robberies in Lansing, same suspect sought

LANSING, Mich. — Lansing police are investigating a pair of armed robberies and believe the same person is responsible for both hold ups.

Officers with the Lansing Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at 11:46 p.m. Tuesday at the Quality Dairy on East Cavanaugh Road.

A man walked into the store, displayed a silver handgun and demanded money from a store employee, police said.

Lansing police say the suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived on scene.

No one was hurt.

LPD officers responded to a report of another armed robbery, this time at a Speedway gas station on East Michigan Avenue right around 3:30 a.m.

Police believe the same suspect in the QD robbery walked into the gas station, pulled out a gun and demanded cash from a gas station employee.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise from the gas station, police said.

No one was hurt.
