LANSING, Mich. — Today at approximately 12:33 p.m., Lansing Police were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 3200 block of S. Washington. Responding Officers were directed to the West rear parking lot area of the apartment complex.
Upon arrival, Officers located an unconscious male subject (victim) with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers immediately rendered first aid treatment to the victim. Lansing Fire Department/Medics arrived and pronounced the victim as deceased.
This Homicide investigation is in the early stages and is ongoing. Lansing Police Crime Scene investigation, Officers, and Detectives continue to gather evidence and Information. The victim has not been positively identified and no arrest has been made.
