The Jackson Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent a teenager to the hospital.
The shooting happened in the area of Chittock Avenue and Rockwell Street Monday.
A 16-year-old male was walking in that area when two men approached him and opened fire, police said.
The teen was driven to the hospital after he flagged someone down for help, police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
