Police are investigating multiple reports of attempted abductions of boys in Michigan.

Someone allegedly tried to lure a child into a van on three separate incidents since Saturday, August 26.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, as well as Hamburg Township Police Department to investigate these incidents.

The incident in Washtenaw County happened in the area of Orchard Street and Portage Lake Avenue in Dexter Township on August 27 at 9:00 p.m.

A 9-year-old boy was riding his bicycle when the driver of a white cargo style van exited the vehicle and told the child to get into the van. A second person also exited the van from the front passenger side, but didn't say anything to the child. The child left the scene on his bicycle and told his mother what happened.

In all three incidents the suspects tried to lure white male children between the ages of 4 to 12 into a van.

The driver of the van is described as a white male, and expected to be about 20 years old. He has no facial hair, is of thin build, was wearing a black sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. There is no description available of the suspect who was in the passenger seat.
