Police believe the mother may have accidentally suffocated the 4-week-old baby after falling asleep with him.
They can't say for sure because they're not done investigating.
The report will be sent to the prosecutor's office.
Police tell us cases like this typically don't result in charges.

Jackson police are investigating the death of a nearly 4-week-old baby boy.
Emergency crews were called around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon to the 600-block of Edgewood Street for a report of an unresponsive baby.
Police say the child's mother fell asleep Saturday and woke up to find the baby unresponsive. The child was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say at this time the death appears to be accidental.
An autopsy examination was done over the weekend. The results have not been released at this time.
