Michigan State Police are investigating a death at the Cherry Lane Nudist Resort in Hillsdale County that occurred on Tuesday afternoon, July 18, 2017.
Police say their investigation at the scene indicated that a 49-year-old man from Adrian may have suffered a medical emergency while in the water that led to an accidental drowning. There were no witnesses at the time the man went into the water.
People at the scene performed CPR on the man before he was taken by the Addison Emergency Medical Support Unit to Hillsdale Community Health Center where he was later pronounced deceased. The death remains under investigation as a possible death by natural causes.
