LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a local dollar store.
Officers were called to the Dollar General located at 5460 South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard just after 9:15 p.m. for a reported armed robbery.
A man walked in the store, displayed a gun and demanded money from a clerk. The suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash before police arrived, police said.
Lansing police say there were no injuries in the robbery.
A K9 unit was called in to track the suspect but that search was not successful, police said.
