The search is on for the suspect wanted for allegedly shooting a man in the leg Sunday night on Lansing’s south side.
Lansing Police were called to the 300 block of Edgewood Boulevard at Woodbridge Manor Apartments around 9:30 p.m. on reports of shots fired in the area.
When police arrived those involved in the shooting had already left the scene.
Moments later a 26-year-old Lansing man arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Police say relatives dropped the victim off.
The 26-year-old victim received non-life threatening injuries.
Police were able to recover shell casings on the ground at the scene of the shooting.
The investigation continues.
