Police have identified the man killed when the motorcycle he was riding hit a deer.
It happened around 11 p.m. near Ionia Road and Kelly Highway in Eaton County's Vermontville Township.
Police say 45-year-old Eric Steidle of Hastings wasn't wearing a helmet.
After the crash, he was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
