The man who was shot and killed at the Log Cabin Party Store Wednesday has been identified as Mehman Signh, says the Jackson Police Department.
The department states that an autopsy was conducted on Nov. 25, and revealed that Singh was shot one time in the neck. He was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at Henry Ford Allegiance Health.
The police department says three suspects approached the store shortly before 9 p.m., and two of the suspects entered the store while the third stood near the door.
Both suspects inside the store were black males, says the Jackson Police Department. The third suspect standing at the door is also believed to be a black male, but the department cannot confirm through the video surveillance.
One suspect inside the store had a handgun, while the other suspect had a long gun. It appears the suspect with the long gun fired the weapon, with the bullet striking Singh.
