Lansing Police and State Police have identified the remains round in a sewer in late August as Danny Lee Tamez of Lansing. The 33-year-old had recently been reported missing. Police have not determined the cause of death yet. Testing is still underway.
Tamez's remains were found in the sewer near the intersection of Herbert Street and Wilson Street on August 21. Anyone with information is asked to call Lansing Police Detective Mike Looney at (517) 483-6869 or State Police Detective Andrew Adamczyk at (517) 483-6866.
