Police have identified the two people killed in a car accident in Bunkerhill Township.
Police say 19-year-old James Huey of Leslie and 22-year-old Anthony Adams II of Pleasant Lake were killed after their car swerved off the road, smashing into a tree and bursting into flames.
The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Plains Rd near Meridian Rd when it hit a deer. The vehicle left the roadway before colliding with a tree head on and catching fire.
The accident occurred on Plains Road in Bunker Township between Meridian and Kelly road.
Officials are awaiting toxicology results.
