LANSING, Mich. — A man suffered after minor injuries after being involved in an accident on icy roads Wednesday morning, police said.
The Lansing Police Department responded to a report of an accident on Lake Lansing Road just before 1 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a SUV in the middle of the roundabout.
Lansing police say the driver lost control on icy roads, slid over the roundabout barrier, and hit a tree in the middle.
No one else was hurt and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Lansing police are investigating the accident but say alcohol may have also played a role in the crash.
