GROESBECK, Mich. — The Lansing Township Police Department has identified, arrested and interviewed the suspect in recent sexual assault reports in Grosebeck.

Women in the Lansing area have told News 10 they were hit on the behind and lower back by the man while he was riding his bike.

Justin Siebert,18, is charged with two counts of fourth-degree Criminal Sexual Conduct. Lansing Township and East Lansing Police say it took less than a day for Siebert to be arrested thanks to a lot of tips from the public.

They say multiple people told them they had seen Siebert around the area, and they are thankful that the public gave them tips leading to Siebert's quick arrest.

"We were concerned that his behavior was actually going to escalate, because while these are serious incidents, we didn't want them to escalate into more serious or intrusive assaults," Deputy Chief Steve Gonzales of the East Lansing Police Department said.

Police say Siebert was brought in by a family member and is currently in the Ingham County Jail.

The Ingham County Prosecutor's Office said Siebert will be in court on Aug. 1. If he's convicted, he could face up to two years in prison.

If you believe you were victimized by this suspect, contact the Lansing Township Police department as soon as possible or call 911.
