Police continue to look for Jackson shooting suspects

Police continue to look for two suspects believed to be involved a shooting that happened earlier this month in Jackson.

The shooting happened in the 1800 block of E. Ganson St., and a 24-year-old Jackson man suffered one gunshot wound to his back, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department.

Deputy Chief Elmer Hitt said they are still looking for two of the suspects they obtained felony warrants for.

The suspects are Cecil Troy Robinson, 32; and Demetrius Taylor, 25.

Robinson has been charged with a six count felony warrant for the following charges: 1- Assault with intent to Murder, 2- Home Invasion 1st Degree, 3-Robbery Armed, 4- Firearm Possession by Felon, 5-Ammunition Possession by Felon, 6- Felony Firearm.

Taylor has been charged with a three count felony warrant for the following charges: 1-Robbery Armed, 2- Home Invasion 1st Degree, 3- Felony Firearm.

A third suspect, Dermont Anderson, 44, has been charged and arrested on charges of armed robbery, home invasion, felonious assault and felony firearm.
