WATERTOWN TOWNSHIP, MI — Police have confirmed that one person has died in a crash on Tuesday morning in Clinton County.
The Michigan Department of Transportation had sent out an alert around 7 a.m. that Eastbound Business Loop I-96 (Grand River Avenue) at Felton Rd in Watertown Township was closed due to a crash.
Fox 47 was on the scene and has confirmed with police that a male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
They are also reporting that a woman in a different car was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Police say it was a head-on collision, the woman was traveling west on Grand River and was hit by the male driver who police believe was passing a car and in the opposite lane when he hit the oncoming vehicle.
