LANSING, Mich. — A Lansing boy is recovering in the hospital after police say he was hit by a car on the city's north side.
The Lansing Police Department says the incident happened on the 400 block of North Hayford Avenue just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police say a four-year-old boy is in stable condition at a local hospital with injuries to his lower body.
Lansing police tell Fox 47 the 44-year-old Lansing man driving the car that hit the child has been arrested. Lansing police have not commented on why the man was arrested but said the incident is currently under investigation.
