Police officers hurt in a stand-off

LANSING, Mich. — Two officers were hurt in a stand-off with a suspect on Redwood Street in Lansing.

The incident happened right before 2 p.m on Wednesday and was cleared up around 3:30 p.m. when the man surrendered.

Multiple agencies were lined up outside a home in the 1500 block of Redwood.

Fox 47 was on the scene when law enforcement barricaded the home with the suspect inside who had some outstanding warrants.

The man had resisted arrest, causing injuries to two officers. One of the officers is being treated for a broken bone.

All persons living in the area can now return to their homes.

Multiple law enforcement were on the scene, including, Lansing P.D., Clinton Co. Sheriff, Eaton Co. Sheriff, Lansing Twp. Police, and DeWitt Township Police.
