Update: Missing girl from Jackson found safe, returned to father

UPDATE (1:30AM): The 11-year old girl missing from Jackson is found safe. Jackson Police tells FOX 47 News 11-year-old Angelica Towers was found around 8:30 Thursday night.

Police would not say where the tween was found but confirm she is safe and returned to her father. Angelica ran away from her father around 5:30 Thursday and was last spotted on Ganson Street in the Taco Bell parking lot.


ORIGINAL: Police in Jackson County are asking for help to find a young girl who ran away.

They say 11-year-old Angelica Towers ran away from her father in the area of the 900 block of Ganson Street.

She was last seen wearing a teal sweatshirt, Mickey Mouse t-shirt, colorful leggings and light brown boots.

If you see her call 911 immediately.
