Police have arrested the man they think is responsible for following a girl into her apartment, and waiting for her to get out of the shower this week.
It happened in Meridian Township on Wednesday at the Lodges Apartments.
Police say they arrested the suspect Sunday around noon during a traffic stop.
Apparently he was waiting in the woman's bedroom on Wednesday while she showered, but ran off when a roommate came home.
"I was really scared," said neighbor Elisa Carsten. "When I found out that it was in my building and my part of this building, I was like Oh my god. I don't know I guess I just kind of imagine that it would happen somewhere closer to campus. We're a little farther out, so it's really scary that it happened here."
Meridian Township police think the man was waiting to hurt her, because he didn't steal anything while he was there.
He's being kept in the Ingham County jail until he's arraigned.
