DELTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A suspect the Eaton County Sheriff's Office says was involved in a shooting Tuesday at a Delta Township car wash has been arrested.
The suspect's name is expected to be made public Thursday following his arraignment in Eaton County District Court.
The suspect is currently lodged in the county jail on multiple felony charges stemming from a shooting around noon Tuesday at Spotless Auto Wash World, 103 S. Waverly Road, in Delta Township.
When sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene, they found nobody injured. Witnesses told police the man who was arrested shot a handgun at another man and fled the scene.
Deputies and detectives worked with the Lansing Police Department to find the suspect, according to the sheriff's office's Facebook page.
There's no indication the victim was hit when the suspect fired the handgun.
The car wash is located just south of West Michigan Avenue and west of Delta Township’s border with Lansing Township.
