Keep your eyes on the road in East Lansing because undercover police officers are watching.

East Lansing and MSU Police departments are working together to catch distracted drivers.

During a four-hour operation last week, a dozen drivers were ticketed for texting and driving.

The fine for the first offense is $100 dollars.

It goes up to $200 dollars the second time you're caught.
