JACKSON, Mich. — Police say one person is dead after a shooting in Jackson Saturday afternoon.
At 12:25 p.m., Jackson police were called to the 1200 block on Martin Luther King Drive for a fight.
When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old victim from Jackson was shot multiple times.
The victim was transferred to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital and died from his injuries, according to police.
Police say the suspect is a 24-year-old man from Jackson. He is currently in the Jackson County jail.
Police say it is an ongoing investigation.
