A pretty good fall weekend is on tap for mid-Michigan and there a few things happening outside that you might want to check out.

There's an Oktoberfest street party with traditional food and drink tonight and tomorrow on West Wesley Street in Jackson.

There's a $2 cover for adults and free admission for anyone under 18 years old.

Things get going at 5 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday.

In Marshall, its the annual Skeleton Fest celebration.

The downtown area will be full of dozens of life size skeletons all over.

There will be food and drinks and fun for the kids from 2 to 5 Saturday afternoon and you can break out your running shoes for the Playmakers Autumn Classic 8k on Sunday.

It races through Lake Lansing Park north in Haslett and will start just after 8:30 Sunday morning.
