EAST LANSING, Mich. — Tuesday, July 2 is the kickoff of East Lansing's popular children's entertainment series 'Play in the Park'.
The event is happening in Valley Court Park every Tuesday in July at 7 p.m.
There will be several free activities for the whole family.
People attending 'Play in the Park' are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.
The event will be canceled in the event of rain or inclement weather.
