Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver on the city's north side.

Officers were called to a report of an armed robbery in the 500 block of West Genesee Street.

Lansing police said a delivery driver for the Cottage Inn Pizza on S. Washington Square in Lansing, had been robbed.

The driver told police that he was delivering a pizza along with other food to a house on W. Genessee when he was approached by 3 suspects.

Lansing police say at least three people are believed to be involved in the robbery and one suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money.

The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and food.

The delivery driver was not hurt.

A K9 unit was called in to track the suspects but the track was not successful.

The suspects are described as:
- a 5'8" black teenage male
- a 5'2" black female
- a 6'0" black male - he had the gun.
