Construction workers on the new Sparrow Plaza, including the Herbert-Herman Cancer Center, wore pink, heard a cancer survivor's story and raised money during a Wear It Pink event on-site for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Christman construction workers are in the midsts of construction on the new plaza, and during lunchtime participated in the Wear It Pink event.
Check out photos of the construction workers on-site here.
Workers sported pink shirts and also heard from James Herman, M.D., and Director of the Sparrow Cancer Center.
This is part of Christman's various activities to help raise money for gift cards and comforting items for the cancer center patients.
