These are pictures sent to us showing the end of a police chase in Jackson County. The sheriff's department tells us the black pick-up truck was stolen from a car lot shortly before one Thursday afternoon.
A half-hour later, a Jackson County Deputy patrolling in Summit Township spotted the truck. The chase lasted about 16 minutes through Summit Township, and ended in the city.
Deputies had to break it off due to increased traffic. Thanks to help from the public, deputies found the truck near McDevitt and Hauge Avenue.
The driver jumped out and ran, but was quickly capatured by authorities. The suspect's name hasn't been released yet. We'll keep tracking this one for you.
