There's a phone scam making the rounds concerning the new medicare cards.
The DeWitt charter township Facebook page says the caller claims your card is in the mail-- but you need to get a temporary card in the meantime.
They say it'll cost you between five to 50 dollars, and the caller asks for personal information. Medicare says it won't call you about your new card, and the new cards will be mailed out and will be free.
