The Lansing Board of Water and Light will band its new baby Peregrine Falcon chick on Tuesday.

The chick hatched at the Eckert Power Station nest back in April 2018.

Biologists will weigh and determine the sex of the unnamed baby chick at the station at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

The BWL -established a nesting space for Peregrine Falcons back in 2004 after the bird was put on the endangered species here in Michigan.
