The Eaton Co. Sheriff's office has released the name of the man killed in an accident on Sunday morning.
James Bouts, 68, from Grand Ledge, was struck and killed by a car around 1:30 a.m. near Saginaw Highway west of Nixon Road.
According to the Eaton County Sheriff's Office, the driver, who was 19 and from Delta Township, stayed on scene.
It's unclear what caused the crash.
