LANSING, Mich. — Peak Performance Physical Therapy, specialists in orthopedic manual physical therapy, has organized a donation drive to help protect our frontline healthcare workers as we continue fighting COVID-19.
“The healthcare providers on the frontline of treating COVID-19 patients have supported our community for years, and now it’s time we return that support,” said Jill Marlan, CEO and founder of Peak Performance Physical Therapy. “It’s more important now than ever that our community stands together.”
Items that can be donated include gloves, N95 masks, hand sanitizer, cloth masks with filters, disinfectant sprays and wipes, and headbands with buttons or straps for masks. Donations can be dropped off starting Monday, April 13, in the bin located outside of the main entrance at all three clinic locations in Lansing, Okemos, and Dewitt. The drive will continue through the end of April and items will be distributed to healthcare workers in hospitals and physicians offices in need.
This drive is to help those get the necessary supplies needed to keep those on the frontlines battling and treating this pandemic safe. Every precautionary measure gets our community one step closer to being back to normal and through these initiatives, we can show our healthcare workers our gratitude for all they are doing.
