The city of Jackson is closing West Morrell Street Thursday.
Crews will resurfacing the payment in various locations between Brown Street and West Avenue beginning at 7 a.m
People driving through the area are urged to seek an alternative route.
Morell Street will remain open only for residents to access driveways.
The work is expected to be completed by 7 p.m. Thursday.
