Patrols will be boosted at Waverly High School today after a reported threat.
High School Principal Chris Huff sent out a message to parents addressing reports that there would be violence at the school today. Parents posted on social media about a student who they say reportedly threatened to shoot up the school.
Huff states there is no indication the threat is credible or imminent. He says the issue has been resolved. However, he tweeted Eaton County Sheriff Deputies would increase patrols in and around the high school as a precaution.
Eaton Co will increase patrol in and around WHS Thursday morning. We will continue with school as scheduled.
