LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Community College President Dr. Brent Knight will host a "Party with the Prez" to welcome students to LCC's campus.
The event takes place at LCC's downtown campus from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28.
The event will feature live music from Hot Mess Band, free Domino's pizza and Jimmy John's, and prizes including Beats by Dre headphones and a laptop.
Knight will be kicking back, playing games with students.
The party is bittersweet as it's Knight's last one as president of the college.
Knight intends to retire at the end of the academic year.
