A parts shortage will cancel production at GM's Lansing Grand River Assembly plant on Friday.
The undisclosed parts shortage is being caused by a fire at a supplier warehouse. GM will not name the supplier.
The shortage interrupted production Wednesday night through Thursday. It will lead to a production cancellation Friday.
A GM spokesman tells us there are constant conference calls with the supplier to determine when supply will resume.
The interruption is affecting 2,700 employees. The plant makes Cadillac and Camaros.
