A section of US-127 in the Lansing-area will be closed this weekend for some concrete patching work.
The southbound lanes of US-127 between Grand River Avenue (M-43) and I-496 will be closed starting at 10 a.m Friday.
There also will be single lane closures on the eastbound side of West Saginaw Street.
Drivers are being asked to avoid those areas this weekend.
The concrete patching work will be done by Sunday afternoon, weather permitting.
