LANSING, Mich. — The city of Lansing has announced on Monday, July 15 that westbound Edgewood Boulevard between South Cedar Street and Amwood Drive be closed starting at 7 a.m.
City workers will be installing a water main in the area.
The closure is expected to last until 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16.
On Tuesday, one eastbound lane of Edgewood Boulevard will be available for drivers to use until full restoration of the street is finished.
The city's suggested detour for westbound Edgewood Boulevard traffic is:
-South on Cedar Street to American Road, west on American Road to return to Edgewood Boulevard
Access to businesses in this area will be maintained.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
