Two parents in western Michigan have been arrested in the neglect death of their 10-month-old daughter.

The Kent County sheriff's office says deputies found the child not breathing and unresponsive Thursday in a Solon Township home after her father called 911.

The child was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy on Friday ruled the cause of death as malnutrition and dehydration due to neglect by adult care givers. The manner of death was ruled a homicide.

Both parents are being held in the county jail pending review of the case by prosecutors. Their names have not been released.

Solon Township is north of Grand Rapids.
