Lansing Township Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in the 100 block of Brynford Avenue in Lansing Township.
Flames broke out at the home early Wednesday morning just before 6 a.m. Neighbors tell WILX, one person lives in the house, but he was not home at the time. When crews arrived, the house was engulfed in flames. Firefighters have put out the blaze. The home reportedly is a total loss.
Lansing's Fire Chief is on scene along with fire investigators. Investigators are focusing on a front window of the home. Neighbors believe someone may have thrown something to start the fire.
