The Lansing Fire Department says they are still investigating the cause of a fire that kept them busy twice overnight.
Firefighters first worked to douse flames at a home on the 900 block of Johnson Avenue in Lansing at around midnight.
Nobody was home when the fire started. The woman who lived there arrived home to find firefighters on the scene.
The flames were doused, but then around five a.m., the fire reignited. Flames quickly spread through the home.
The Lansing Fire Department tells us they have called an electrical inspector to try to determine the cause of the fire, but the inspector is not available until Monday.
The home is unlivable. We're told the woman who lived there is staying with family. Nobody was hurt.
