A crash briefly closed down I-96 just east of the US-127 interchange.
It happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday night.
Deputies say a driver fell asleep at the wheel and the front end of his car got stuck under the back side of a UPS truck.
Both westbound lanes of I-96 were closed while crews separated the two vehicles.
That stretch of interstate has since re-opened.
