Around 1500 customers are currently without power in Lansing and East Lansing, according to the Lansing Board of Water & Light's website.
As of 3:15 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2017, the city-owned utility's outage map shows 1,517customers without power. The largest area affected is in East Lansing, south of Lake Lansing between Abbott and Park Lake Roads.
East Lansing Police Department is warning drivers that the traffic light at the intersection of Haslett and Hagadorn is out.
There are also outages reported in Lansing south of E. Saginaw, between Clemens and Pennsylvania, and in west Lansing, near the intersection of W. Saginaw and N. Creyts.
