LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Libraries for Life program is starting it's annual tour of libraries in the state on Thursday, Oct. 10.
The tour is a seven day campaign to raise awareness and educate people about organ donation.
The tour travels to 150 libraries through out the state. Volunteers and library staff will be there to answer questions and help people sign up on the Donor Registry.
Michigan Libraries For Life has inspired more than 4,300 people to sign up as donors.
Michigan Libraries For Life donor drive dates are Thursday, Oct. 10, to Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019.
