LANSING, Mich. — One person is injured after a woman crashed her car into an apartment.
It happened just before 1 p.m. at the Marvin Garden apartment complex on Cavanaugh in Lansing.
Lansing Police said that the driver said the brakes failed as she turned into the parking lot.
They say she was only going about 5 mph but she did hit the building and broke a window along with cracking the frame on the building.
The woman was not hurt.
Lansing Fire said that a man was in the apartment at the time and had to be taken to the hospital for injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
