A Lansing woman is behind bars after allegedly stabbing her neighbor.
It happened on South Washington Ave. near Mount Hope Rd. around 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.
Police say the 56-year-old suspect stabbed her neighbor and locked herself inside her house.
A canine team and negotiator were called to the scene.
Officers eventually entered her home and took her into custody.
The victim, a 27-year-old Lansing woman, suffered only minor injuries.
The suspect, who's name has not been released, has been charged with assault.
